Eagles-Packers inactives: Jalyx Hunt among healthy scratches

Philadelphia's second-round pick from 2022 won't play in the preseason opener

**GREEN BAY, Wis.** - The Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers will kick off their preseason schedules on Friday night, and both teams will be without some key players. For the Eagles, second-round pick Jalyx Hunt is among the inactives. The cornerback was expected to compete for a starting role this season, but he has been dealing with a hamstring injury. Hunt is one of several healthy scratches for the Eagles. Others include wide receiver Quez Watkins (groin), running back Boston Scott (ankle), and defensive end Janarius Robinson (ankle). The Packers will also be without some key players, including wide receiver Allen Lazard (ankle) and running back Aaron Jones (calf). Lazard is expected to be ready for the regular season, but Jones' status is less certain. The running back missed most of last season with a calf injury. The Packers will also be without cornerback Jaire Alexander (groin) and safety Adrian Amos (concussion). The Eagles and Packers will kick off at 7 p.m. ET on Friday night.
